Dr. Roy Hann is the founder and owner of Spring Valley Ranches. Dr. Hann, or “Doc” as some call him, retired from his 45-year career at Texas A&M University as a Professor Emeritus of Environmental Engineering. Dr. Hann is deeply passionate about Charolais cattle and the ranch property, where he lives with his wife, Martha. Today, Dr. Hann is a daily fixture in working and coordinating work at the ranch, where he seeks retirement enjoyment while helping to implement Tyson’s ranch vision.
